This museum hotel was planned according to the Oki islands in the Sea of Japan, being designated as UNESCO Global Geopark.
Since there is no construction industry on the islands that could make a hotel feasible, the large CLT panel construction method was adopted as a new prefabricated system that minimizes on-site work, allows most of the work to be completed on the mainland, and is friendly to nature as a concept of Geopark. It is a standard hotel architecture that makes quiet, peaceful and abundant nature clearly perceptible.
