The Iwata Civic Cultural Center ‘Kataria’ is a 1,500-seat hall forming a cultural hub with Amuse Toyoda, Children’s Library, and New Formative Creation Center. As a civic activity center ‘where cultural arts exist, weaving and discussing the region’s historical culture,’ it aims to create a unified cultural zone. The concept is to build a symbol of Iwata City, with dignity to withstand changes over time, a space for extraordinary experiences, and a hall that balances stage and audience unity with excellent acoustics.
