This is a complex exchange hub that integrates sports and cultural activities, located in the central part of the town near Minami-Hikone Station, adjacent to schools and residential areas. The site has a narrow, elongated shape of approximately 360 meters, with a ‘communication street’ running through the center of the two buildings: the sports building and the town exchange building. This design enhances the town’s circulation and creates various activity spaces with a ‘spatial composition that connects inside and outside,’ fostering vibrancy and interaction.
