Eiheijicho, Fukui. This project is set in a landscape where the Kuzuryu River and river terraces stretch out before you and is a local initiative by Kokuryu Sake Brewing. This celebrates the charm of fermentation while preserving traditional methods. This design involves snow-resistant roofs and terraces that easily integrate with terraced rice fields, creating a natural extension of the landscape. These elements subtly merge with the original landscape, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the atmosphere while savoring sake. The interplay between floating and secret sensations creates synergy, making the place truly remarkable.
