“Verdigris-look concrete in tune with the urban environment”
This is a housing complex built along the Loop Route 7. To prevent noise pollution, the building has 10-layered concrete walls with as few windows as possible on the street side. The façade is finished with a special verdigris-look paint finish that is highly compatible with the zelkova trees, and the modules of the formwork are used to create uneven surfaces that also serve as inducement joints. The fourth floor and above are designed with a dirt floor plan that includes a bicycle parking area to encourage integrated use with the living/dining/kitchen area.
