Naomi Sato, Yuta Otsuka (Naomi Sato Architects)

A project for an innovation center of Haruna beverage, whose head office and factory are located at the foot of Mt. Haruna in Gunma Prefecture. The facility was required to combine R&D, offices, and an open gallery, stimulate communication both inside and outside the company, and produce beverages from a new perspective. With seven overlapping gabled roofs design inspired by Mount Haruna and Zig-Zag plan, a wooden warm architecture in the forest was conceived despite being located within an industrial park.
