A 135-bed psychiatric ward composed entirely of private rooms. The ward comprises closed units requiring a high level of privacy and is surrounded by existing hospital buildings and nearby residential areas. In response, the design wraps the building with lush gardens and natural materials such as wood, brick, and terracotta. Arranged in layered, repetitive configurations, these materials create a therapeutic environment where enclosure and openness coexist, evoking daylight and a sense of breeze filtering through tree branches and foliage.
