Keisuke Maeda (UID)

This is the annex of KSB Setouchi Broadcasting. Focusing on the boundaries and spatiality required for functions, we aimed to create a small urban-like architecture by gradually connecting individual spatial domains.The defining of the design is a distinctive structural system composed of nine architectural “furniture” elements. These porous, bricolage-like structures are composed of diverse materials, creating a sense of heterogeneity. They serve as ambiguous, multilayered thresholds—both physically and psychologically. A existing tree is preserved as a landmark, offering dappled sunlight, the rustling of leaves.
