Yo Sato, Ryohei Baba, Hikomaru Wada (OOOarchitecture)

This project considers a child development support center as a landscape for sensing. Floors follow the site’s subtle micro-topography, creating gentle level differences, while roofs respond to each space through light and height. Everyday phenomena—sunlight, rain, air—are carefully framed. Rather than prescribing behavior, the architecture offers situations where children with developmental disabilities cultivate perception through play. Openness and protection toward the city are balanced, forming a quiet yet connected presence within the neighborhood.
